Charm of Temptation - 2025 (Gold)

Once per game, the wearer may attempt the Rogue Skill Test if there was never a rogue in the party. E.g., if your party had a rogue but the rogue died, this item won’t work. (It won’t work if there’s a living rogue either.)

For in-person events, using this item does not automatically get you the clue or treasure, you’re still required to successfully navigate the Rogue Skill Test’s physical challenge. VTD does not currently feature a Rogue Skill Test, so this restriction is moot until/unless the Rogue Skill Test requirement for VTD changes.

This item does not allow a non-rogue to use rogue-only items (e.g., this won’t enable its wearer to make use of Ektdar’s Tinkering Tool, Masterwork Thieves’ Tools, Rod of Persuasion, or similar items) nor does it allow a character to equip or use a token whose class list does not include the class they’re currently playing.

Note: Once any Charm of Temptation has been used in a room, no other player may use one in that room–even if the first player did not successfully complete the Rogue Skill Test. If more than one player wants to use this token’s power at the same time and they’re incapable of coming to an amicable decision, use rock-paper-scissors to determine who gets to use theirs.
