Adds +2 to AC and +3 to Strength (thus, depending on prior Strength score, adding either +1/+2 To Hit in melee and either +1/+2 Damage with melee and thrown weapons)

When at least three items are worn, grants 4 points of Darkrift Retribution Damage.

When at least 4 items are worn, grants 2 additional points of Retribution Damage for a grand total of 6. There is no 5-piece or 6-piece bonus for this set.

Retribution Damage: When a melee attack deals damage to a target possessing Retribution Damage (RD), the attacker takes damage equal to the target’s total RD. Neither missile nor Spell attacks trigger RD. If an attack would have caused damage but is completely negated (e.g., Cloak of Shadowskin) or the attack’s damage is reduced to zero (e.g., melee damage reduction), RD does not trigger.

Note: Energy-draining Undead (vampire, lich, etc.) are immune to Darkrift energy, but other Undead take normal damage from it.
